Last updated: 5 October 2026
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website athenssixstartours.com (the “Website”) and the booking and provision of transportation, transfer, private tour and related services offered under the trade name Athens Six Star Tours.
The services are provided by:
KATSANTONIS ARGYRIS & CO. E.E.Trade name: Athens Six Star ToursRegistered office: 15 Kiprou Street, Alimos, GreeceVAT No.: 800943876Competent Tax Authority: Palaio Faliro Tax OfficeTourism Business Registry (MHTE): 0261E60000800201Telephone: +30 211 411 7676Email: info@athenssixstartours.com
For the purposes of these Terms, the above entity is referred to as “Athens Six Star Tours”, the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
Any person making a booking or using the services is referred to as the “Customer”, “Passenger” or “you”, as applicable.
By completing a booking through the Website, the Customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions before submitting the booking.
Where the Customer qualifies as a consumer, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights granted by mandatory consumer protection legislation.
2. SERVICES
Athens Six Star Tours provides private passenger transportation and related travel services, including, depending on availability:
- airport transfers;
- port transfers;
- point-to-point private transfers;
- private tours and excursions;
- hourly vehicle and driver disposal services;
- corporate and executive transportation;
- VIP transportation;
- transportation for events and special occasions;
- custom transportation arrangements.
The precise scope of each service is determined by the booking confirmation and any specific terms communicated to and accepted by the Customer.
Unless expressly included in the confirmed booking, additional services, admissions, tickets, meals, accommodation, licensed tour guides or other third-party services are not included.
3. BOOKING PROCESS
The Customer may search for available services and, where the relevant service is available for direct online booking, enter the required journey details, select a vehicle category or service and proceed to payment.
The Customer is responsible for reviewing all booking information before submitting the booking, including:
- pickup location;
- destination;
- date;
- pickup time;
- number of passengers;
- luggage requirements;
- selected vehicle category;
- flight or vessel information, where relevant;
- child seat requirements, where applicable;
- any additional services or special requests.
A booking is considered confirmed once the booking process has been successfully completed, the required payment has been processed and a booking confirmation has been issued by Athens Six Star Tours.
A mere price search, availability enquiry, incomplete booking attempt or custom quote request does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Services requiring a custom quotation become binding only after the specific offer has been accepted in accordance with the instructions communicated by Athens Six Star Tours and any required payment has been completed.
4. BOOKINGS MADE ON BEHALF OF OTHER PASSENGERS
A Customer may make a booking on behalf of another passenger or group of passengers.
In such cases, the person making the booking confirms that they are authorised to provide the necessary booking information and to make the arrangements on behalf of the passengers concerned.
The person making the booking is responsible for communicating to the passengers all information relevant to the service, including the pickup arrangements and these Terms where appropriate.
5. ACCURACY OF BOOKING INFORMATION
The Customer must provide complete and accurate information.
Athens Six Star Tours is not responsible for delays, missed pickups, additional costs or inability to provide the service where these result from materially incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the Customer, except where the Company has itself caused or contributed to the relevant problem.
The Customer must inform Athens Six Star Tours as soon as reasonably possible if any material booking information changes.
6. PRICES
Unless expressly stated otherwise during the booking process, prices displayed and confirmed for directly bookable services are quoted per vehicle and not per passenger.
The final price applicable to a confirmed booking is the price presented to the Customer before payment and stated in the booking confirmation.
The confirmed price includes applicable VAT and the mandatory charges expressly included in the selected service.
For a standard confirmed transfer, the agreed price is fixed. No meter or surge pricing applies.
No mandatory surcharge will be imposed after confirmation for a service already included in the confirmed booking.
Optional services, Customer-requested changes, additional waiting or services outside the scope of the original booking may result in an additional charge where applicable. Any such charge will be communicated to the Customer before the additional service is agreed, where reasonably possible.
Indicative “from” prices shown elsewhere on the Website are starting prices and do not constitute a binding quotation for every route, vehicle or service.
7. PAYMENT
Where online payment is available, the Customer is required to pay the amount displayed during checkout in order to complete the booking.
Payments are processed through the payment method or payment service provider made available during checkout.
Athens Six Star Tours does not require the Customer to provide payment card credentials by ordinary email or through an unsecured communication channel.
A booking for which the required payment has not been successfully completed is not considered confirmed unless Athens Six Star Tours expressly confirms otherwise in writing.
For custom services, corporate arrangements or other bookings not completed through the standard online checkout, the applicable payment method and payment terms may be specified separately.
8. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
After successful completion of an online booking, the Customer receives confirmation using the contact details provided during the booking process.
The Customer should check the confirmation promptly and notify Athens Six Star Tours of any discrepancy.
The booking confirmation identifies the essential elements of the service and forms part of the agreement between the Customer and Athens Six Star Tours.
9. VEHICLE CATEGORIES
The Website allows the Customer to select among available vehicle categories according to the service, number of passengers and luggage requirements.
Images displayed on the Website are representative of the relevant vehicle category.
Where a category is described using a particular vehicle model followed by wording such as “or similar”, the booking relates to the vehicle category and capacity rather than to a guaranteed individual make, model, registration number, colour or production year.
Athens Six Star Tours may provide a different vehicle within the booked category or a vehicle of an equivalent or higher category where operationally necessary, provided that it is suitable for the confirmed number of passengers and reasonable luggage requirements and does not materially reduce the service purchased by the Customer.
10. PASSENGERS AND LUGGAGE
The Customer must select a vehicle suitable for the actual number of passengers and the quantity and type of luggage.
The maximum passenger and luggage capacities displayed for each vehicle category must be respected.
Athens Six Star Tours may refuse to carry passengers or luggage exceeding the lawful or safe capacity of the vehicle.
Unusually large, heavy or special items, including oversized sporting equipment or other items that may not fit safely in the selected vehicle, should be disclosed before booking or as soon as possible thereafter.
Where a larger vehicle or additional vehicle becomes necessary because the information originally supplied by the Customer was materially inaccurate, any resulting additional service is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge disclosed to the Customer.
11. CHILD SEATS
Child seats may be requested during the booking process where the option is available.
The Customer must provide any information reasonably necessary for the appropriate arrangement.
Availability may depend on the type and number of seats requested.
Children must be transported in accordance with applicable road safety requirements.
The accompanying adult remains responsible for supervising the child during the journey.
12. PICKUP
The Customer must be ready at the confirmed pickup point at the agreed time and must provide accurate contact information.
For airport, port and other arrival services, specific meeting instructions may be provided in the booking confirmation or subsequent operational communication.
Where a meet-and-greet service is included, the driver will meet the Passenger at the designated meeting point in accordance with the applicable pickup instructions.
The Customer should keep the provided contact details available in case communication with the operations team or driver becomes necessary.
13. FLIGHT MONITORING AND DELAYS
For airport transfers where valid flight details have been provided, Athens Six Star Tours may monitor the relevant flight and adjust the pickup arrangements to the actual arrival time.
Where the booked service includes flight monitoring, a normal flight delay does not by itself result in an additional charge for adjusting the airport pickup to the actual arrival time.
The Customer must provide the correct flight number and notify Athens Six Star Tours, where reasonably possible, of material changes such as a changed flight, cancellation, rebooking or arrival at a different airport.
Flight monitoring does not remove the Customer’s responsibility to provide accurate booking information.
14. WAITING TIME AND PASSENGER DELAYS
Reasonable waiting arrangements associated with the nature of the booked service may be included in the confirmed service.
Where the Passenger is substantially delayed for reasons unrelated to a monitored flight or other circumstances covered by the confirmed service, the Customer should contact Athens Six Star Tours immediately.
Material additional waiting requested or caused by the Customer beyond the scope of the confirmed service may be subject to availability and an additional charge.
Any applicable additional charge will, where reasonably possible, be communicated before the additional waiting service is provided.
15. CUSTOMER NO-SHOW
A Passenger may be treated as a no-show where the driver is present at the correct confirmed pickup point and time, the applicable reasonable waiting period has elapsed, the Passenger cannot be located and reasonable attempts to contact the Passenger using the details supplied in the booking have been unsuccessful.
A no-show is different from a timely cancellation made in accordance with the cancellation policy.
Where a Customer fails to appear for a confirmed service without timely cancellation, the amount paid may be non-refundable, subject to mandatory applicable law and any specific booking conditions communicated to the Customer.
16. CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
Unless specific booking conditions expressly provide a more favourable cancellation right, a confirmed booking may be cancelled without cancellation charge up to twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled pickup time.
Where a qualifying cancellation is made within this period, the amount paid for the cancelled service will be refunded using the appropriate refund process.
Cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled pickup time may be non-refundable.
A failure to attend the service without cancellation may also be treated as non-refundable.
Where a booking is subject to special cancellation terms, the specific terms clearly communicated to and accepted by the Customer before booking prevail to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable right the Customer may have under applicable law.
17. CHANGES REQUESTED BY THE CUSTOMER
The Customer may request a change to a confirmed booking by contacting Athens Six Star Tours.
Requested changes are subject to availability and operational feasibility.
A requested change may affect the price where it changes the route, duration, date, vehicle category, number of vehicles or another material element of the service.
Where a price adjustment is required, the Customer will be informed before the amendment is confirmed.
A requested amendment is not effective until accepted by Athens Six Star Tours.
18. CANCELLATION OR MATERIAL CHANGE BY ATHENS SIX STAR TOURS
If Athens Six Star Tours is unable to provide a confirmed service due to circumstances within its responsibility, it will take reasonable steps, depending on the circumstances, to provide an appropriate alternative service or refund the amount paid for the affected service.
Where an alternative vehicle is provided, it may be of the same or a higher category, subject to availability and suitability for the booked service.
Athens Six Star Tours will not make a material reduction to the confirmed service without informing the Customer where prior communication is reasonably possible.
Mandatory statutory rights of the Customer remain unaffected.
19. PRIVATE TOURS
Private tours are provided according to the itinerary, approximate duration, vehicle category and other elements stated in the relevant booking or confirmed offer.
Tour durations are subject to reasonable variation due to traffic, weather, road conditions, seasonal conditions and other operational circumstances.
Unless expressly included in the booking, the price of a private tour does not include admission tickets, meals, accommodation, personal expenses or services of a licensed tourist guide.
A professional driver may provide general practical or local information during the journey but does not act as a licensed tourist guide where the provision of licensed guiding services is legally reserved to appropriately qualified persons.
Where a licensed guide is specifically requested and confirmed, that service will be identified separately.
20. TOUR ITINERARIES
The Customer must follow reasonable timing arrangements necessary for completion of the confirmed itinerary.
Athens Six Star Tours may make reasonable operational adjustments to the order or timing of stops where required by traffic, road closures, weather, site accessibility, safety considerations or other circumstances affecting the journey.
Such adjustments do not constitute a cancellation where the essential character of the booked service remains materially unchanged.
Any substantial Customer-requested extension or deviation from the confirmed itinerary is subject to availability and may result in an additional charge agreed with the Customer.
21. HOURLY DISPOSAL SERVICES
Where a vehicle and driver are booked on an hourly disposal basis, the booking covers the agreed vehicle category and confirmed number of service hours.
The service begins and ends according to the arrangements stated in the booking confirmation.
Use beyond the confirmed duration is subject to vehicle and driver availability and may result in an additional charge.
The vehicle may only be used within the geographical, operational and legal limits applicable to the confirmed service.
22. CUSTOM QUOTES
Routes, destinations, events, corporate requirements, multi-day arrangements or other services not available through standard online booking may be handled through a custom quotation.
Submitting a quote request does not create a booking or payment obligation.
A custom booking becomes confirmed only after the Customer accepts the relevant offer in accordance with the communicated process and completes any required payment or other confirmation step.
Any specific commercial or operational terms included in an accepted custom quotation form part of the agreement and prevail over general Website information concerning the same matter.
23. CORPORATE AND BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
Athens Six Star Tours may provide transportation services to companies, hotels, travel professionals, organisations and other business customers under separately agreed commercial terms.
Where a separate written B2B agreement exists, that agreement prevails over these general Terms in relation to any conflicting commercial provision.
Mandatory provisions of law remain unaffected.
24. PASSENGER CONDUCT
Passengers must behave in a manner that does not endanger the driver, other passengers, the vehicle, third parties or road safety.
Passengers must comply with applicable law and reasonable safety instructions given by the driver.
Athens Six Star Tours may refuse to commence or may discontinue a service where a passenger:
- behaves violently, abusively or threateningly;
- creates a material safety risk;
- intentionally damages the vehicle;
- attempts to require the driver to act unlawfully;
- carries prohibited or dangerous items;
- otherwise makes safe continuation of the service unreasonable.
Any such action will be assessed proportionately according to the circumstances and without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
25. SMOKING AND DAMAGE TO VEHICLES
Smoking or vaping inside vehicles is not permitted.
Passengers must take reasonable care of the vehicle and its equipment.
Where a passenger intentionally or negligently causes damage beyond ordinary use, Athens Six Star Tours reserves the right to seek compensation for the actual loss or reasonable cleaning or repair cost attributable to that damage, in accordance with applicable law.
26. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Passengers are responsible for checking that they have collected their personal belongings when leaving the vehicle.
If an item is found in a vehicle, Athens Six Star Tours will take reasonable steps to identify and contact the owner where possible.
The Company is not responsible for loss caused exclusively by the Passenger’s failure to safeguard or collect their belongings, except to the extent that liability arises under applicable law from an act or omission of Athens Six Star Tours or persons for whom it is legally responsible.
Any reasonable third-party delivery or courier cost requested for the return of a lost item may be borne by the Customer.
27. EVENTS OUTSIDE REASONABLE CONTROL
Transportation services may be affected by circumstances outside the reasonable control of Athens Six Star Tours, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, accidents, extraordinary traffic restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances, government measures or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
In such circumstances, Athens Six Star Tours will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and, where possible, inform the Customer and arrange an appropriate operational solution.
Nothing in this section excludes any obligation or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
28. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Where the Customer separately purchases or requests a service supplied by an independent third party, the identity and role of the relevant provider should be distinguished from the transportation service provided by Athens Six Star Tours.
Athens Six Star Tours is not responsible for the independent performance of a third-party service merely because information about that service was communicated to the Customer, except where responsibility arises under applicable law or Athens Six Star Tours has expressly undertaken responsibility for that service.
29. CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS
Athens Six Star Tours may contact the Customer using the email address, telephone number, SMS, WhatsApp or other contact details provided in connection with the booking where necessary for:
- booking confirmation;
- pickup coordination;
- driver or operational information;
- changes affecting the service;
- customer support;
- payment or refund administration;
- other communications necessary for the requested or contracted service.
Operational communications relating to a booking are separate from marketing communications.
30. WEBSITE INFORMATION
Athens Six Star Tours takes reasonable care to ensure that information displayed on the Website concerning its services, vehicles, routes and prices is accurate and current.
However, obvious typographical, technical or inadvertent errors may occur.
Where an obvious error is identified before a booking is completed, it may be corrected.
Where a material error affects an already submitted booking, Athens Six Star Tours will inform the Customer promptly and deal with the booking in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this provision permits Athens Six Star Tours to unilaterally replace a validly agreed price merely because the booking later becomes commercially less favourable.
31. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
Athens Six Star Tours seeks to maintain the Website and online booking system in normal working order but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Temporary interruption may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, telecommunications failures, payment-provider outages, cybersecurity incidents or other technical circumstances.
A booking is not considered successfully completed merely because the Customer attempted to submit it. Confirmation must be received in accordance with the booking process.
32. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Website and its content, including its texts, photographs, graphics, logos, trade names, design elements, databases and other protected material, are protected by applicable intellectual and industrial property laws to the extent the relevant rights belong to Athens Six Star Tours or are lawfully used by it.
No protected content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, commercially exploited or otherwise used without the permission of the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
33. LIABILITY
Athens Six Star Tours is responsible for the proper performance of its obligations in accordance with the confirmed booking and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.
To the extent permitted by law, Athens Six Star Tours is not responsible for loss resulting solely from:
- materially incorrect information supplied by the Customer;
- the Customer’s failure to be present at the agreed pickup point and time;
- an unlawful or unsafe request made by the Customer;
- an independent act or omission of a third party for whom Athens Six Star Tours is not legally responsible;
- an event outside the Company’s reasonable control.
Any limitation contained in these Terms shall be interpreted restrictively and shall not affect mandatory consumer rights.
34. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Where the Customer is a consumer, all mandatory protections available under applicable consumer law remain in force.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, exclude or restrict a consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived, excluded or restricted.
The cancellation arrangements set out in these Terms constitute the contractual cancellation policy applicable to the booked transportation or tour service, subject always to any mandatory statutory rights that apply to the particular contract.
35. PERSONAL DATA
Personal data collected in connection with Website use, enquiries and bookings is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Athens Six Star Tours and applicable data protection legislation.
Cookies and similar technologies are governed by the applicable Cookie Policy and the Customer’s consent choices where consent is required.
36. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Athens Six Star Tours may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, services, Website functionality or operational requirements.
The version applicable to a confirmed booking is, in principle, the version made available to the Customer at the time of booking, together with any specific booking conditions accepted by the Customer.
A later amendment to the Website Terms does not retrospectively alter a confirmed booking unless this is required by law or validly agreed with the Customer.
37. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
38. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and the contractual relationship between Athens Six Star Tours and the Customer are governed by Greek law.
Where the Customer is a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive the Customer of any protection afforded by mandatory provisions that apply under applicable consumer and private international law.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts determined in accordance with applicable law.
For transactions with business customers acting in the course of their commercial or professional activity, the competent courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by mandatory law.
